Scholarship

The COS Scholarship was made available to a junior or senior (male or female) athlete. We would like to thank everyone for participating in Circle of Stars and for helping us recognize these gymnasts. Applicants were required to submit an essay, high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation. Participation as a college gymnast is not a requirement. COS 2017 Scholarship Recipient

Tori Long

Circle of Stars and DeVeau’s Gymnastics Booster Club would like to congratulate Tori for being awarded the 2017 COS Scholarship. Tori, a Level 10 gymnast from Anderson, Indiana, is a senior at Yorktown High School. Tori’s letters of recommendation described her not only as responsible and trustworthy but as an individual who genuinely cares for other people. This is evident in the extra-curricular activities in which she participates and her community involvement. Tori will be attending Ball State in the fall studying exercise science. She will also be following her dreams of competing as a college gymnast for the Cardinals. Her compassionate personality and leadership skills will certainly be an asset to the team and we wish her the best of luck.
